





Kara Hajek ~
~B.A.A. Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, Dance~
Kara has been teaching dance since she was sixteen. She been studying dance since of the age of nine and is constantly keeping up to date on the dance world. By being a Product Specialist for Saab, Kara has been able to travel around the U.S. working for the auto show circuit. While traveling she has been able to take master classes at The Lou Conte Dance Studio (Home of Hubbard Street Dance) in Chicago, The Center of Contemporary Arts (Coca) in St. Louis and Zennon Dance

Company and School in Minneapolis.
Kara was a member of Orchesis Dance Company at Central Michigan University, under Yvette Crandall. She started a summer dance program at Hurley Health and Fitness Center at the age of eighteen. She is a Member of Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and was a certified Zumba instructor. Kara and Heather both taught classes for MTV in 2010. Also classes from L & L where featured in Woman's World Magazine. Kara loves sharing her passion of dance with others.
Heather Phan ~
~B.B.A in Marketing from the University of Michigan-Flint. Heather has been studying dance since she was three years old. She studied at Suzette’Äôs Masters of Dance for ten years. She studied in various types of dance including; Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Clogging. While studying dance in all of these areas she has been able to travel to many different areas such as Florida, Virginia, Boston, and Maryland.
Mary Combi ~
Mary began her classical ballet training with Lee Ann King at Sylvia Studio in Ann Arbor. She has been dancing since the age of seven and has been teaching dancers of all ages for more than 16 years. She was a member of the Ann Arbor Civic Ballet for eight years and then served on its board as the communications chair and president. She has attended the International Cecchetti Summer School of Dance as both a student and teacher for many years and is currently a teaching member of the Cecchetti Council of America.
Mary was previously a dance major at both Eastern Michigan University and Western Michigan University with a ballet concentration. While in college she was able to study with a repetiteur of the Balanchine Trust while staging Stars and Stripes, and she took master classes with members from The Doug Elkins Company, Hubbard Street Dance Company, The Pilobolus Dance Theater, and many others. She has also has traveled to take class with Hartford Ballet Company, Cleveland Ballet Company, and Lake Erie Ballet.
Mary is currently an Elementary Education student at UM-Flint and works for the American Lung Association.
Karianne Cheney ~
Karianne has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Karianne is also the Dance Team coach at Goodrich High School. Karianne has been dancing since she was three years old. She has studied dance at local dance studios, where she learned Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Karianne was also a member of the SVSU Dance Team for three years. Her passion in life is to dance and to share the art of dance with others.
