Michelle Delaney
Starting gymnastics at the age of six, I spent many years of my youth inside of a gym. As a teenager, I began coaching toddler classes, and later in life, I transitioned to coaching competitive teams. Tumbling has always been a passion of mine! After relocating to Martha’s Vineyard in my early twenties, I continued my coaching at the only gymnastics gym on the island. My dear friend, who was a teacher at the local dance studio, introduced me to the acro dance world. I had a whirlwind introduction to the Acro world and fell head over heels in love with it! I taught Acro at that studio for six years until my family moved back to Michigan. I firmly believe that strength and flexibility are the keys to injury prevention, and my lifelong mantra is “drill the skill.” I am thrilled to be back in the teaching world and look forward to helping your student learn, grow, and feel their best while doing so!
